Signs you’re doing well in life

May 6, 2016

A popular philosophy is that, in your life right now, you’re either going through a storm, coming out of one or entering into a new one. If you’ve ever felt like you’re not getting anywhere in life, keep your head up and remind yourself that this too shall pass.

Live, learn, repeat process

In life, we live and learn. Life’s journey is full of bumps, curves and intersections. Each action you take may set off chain of reactions that could complicate matters or flourish into a brilliant opportunity. Whether your opportunity is not quite what you’ve expected, don’t allow it to get you under. The mistakes you make today, will; influence how tomorrow plays out but it’s better to make a mistake, get over it and learn something so that you don’t repeat it again. If you’re able to learn from your mistakes you’re better off than you thought.

You have a bed to sleep in

No matter if it’s an old, rustic bed with the mattress coils guising as an acupuncture bed, fact is you have a bed. Consider that there are homeless people who are sleeping on the cold, hard ground. When it rains, they need to pick up whatever they have and move to a dry spot. So, when you’re complaining about your bedding sets not matching, be grateful that you at least have a bedding to cover your bed.

You have work experience

These days you can’t have a job without prior work experience. Having a qualification is great, but experience is better. It’s not the end of the world if you’re currently unemployed. You’ve gotten a job before, you can get one again! See this as the perfect opportunity to look for what you truly love doing. Keep up the search, don’t lose faith and believe that you have the potential, it’s only up to someone to realise it.

That sweet thing called love

Fairy tales have taught us that the power of love can overcome all. Unfortunately life is not a fairy tale. It seems like we kiss more frogs than princes, but that’s okay. Surely you’d rather go through all the drama right now rather than to be married to a frog for the rest of your life. Falling in love is not a destination, it’s a journey full of trial and error. Being open to feel this natural, passionate feeling will leave you with memories that will last a lifetime. Not everyone has been in love before and if you have, you are richer than you think.
